Gateway 2: Homeworld
Gateway 2: Homeworld, like most games from Legend, is a mixture of a text quest and a graphic one that has not been reproduced by anyone yet. What does it look like? See screenshots. The game’s interface is mouse, although no one forbids you to drive in words yourself. In G2: H, you will not have to be surprised at the unconventional thinking of the developers, because the riddles are really logical (well, of course, not without exceptions), and the storyline is very clear, without any failures or ambiguities.
As in the old quests from Sierra, there is a point system where for each completed action leading to the promotion of the game, a certain amount of points is awarded. Pixelhunting is present, but very conditionally: everything is traced to "5", and when you click on an object, information about it is immediately displayed in the text box. The music tends to pay special attention ... it is just wonderful, and there is a lot of it, in each location its own melody plays.
You can describe the merits of the game for a long time (yes, it is merits — it has practically no shortcomings), but it’s better to look at it with your own eyes and find out what’s what’s happening.
