The Legend of Kyrandia 3: Malcolm's Revenge

The Legend of Kyrandia: Malcolm's Revenge completed a magnificent series of quests about a fabulous country that had experienced difficult times, but good, as you remember, invariably won, and Kyrandia existed in relative peace and tranquility until the next series of troubles. In the first part, we saved the magical lands from the vicious attacks of the royal jester Malcolm, and in the second, together with the young sorceress, prevented their complete disappearance.

At this time, the same jester who played the role of an evil genius in The Legend of Kyrandia, Book One, acted as the main character. As a result of a magical duel with Prince Brandon, Malcolm was turned into a stone statue and was thrown into a landfill for uselessness. Once in the statue struck lightning, which brought the jester to life. Freed from the spell in such a miraculous way, our hero immediately set foot in all serious. True, now he wants not only to get even with his offenders, but also to dispel the existing myth that he is the killer of the former king and queen. Armed with a jester's wand, having two advisers in the form of a bad and good character, gathering improvised means at the dump in the form of sharp nails and bottle fragments (and how else can one express his disagreement with the forced arrest at the palace dump, as if not cutting off the flags of the castle Gate, poking nails oncoming passers-by and arranging other unpleasant tricks to those around? Malcolm will go to look for a means to escape from Kyrandia, hated by him, in order to plan in the distance the tactics of the "fool's offensive."

The third part was different. But this does not mean at all that the sequel has lost the charm of the first two games of the series - it’s just a new story, told in a slightly different manner. Graphically, the game has changed significantly. The inventory has returned to the look we observed in Book One. True, something new was added - now Malcolm earns points for every bad deed (and, of course, he will strive with all his strength to maximize the ability to annoy others), and in dialogues he can either lie, tell the truth, or stick to neutral position in the conversation. The two sides of Malcolm’s controversial nature - the good and the bad - will appear simultaneously towards the end of the game, and then the player will be asked to make a choice, which, respectively, will affect the final itself - whether the story ends successfully or does anyone lose. .

Admire the familiar and beloved views of Kyrandia in this part will not work - since the last adventures, everything has changed; you can only meet with old friends ... who on Malcolm oh so angry. There will be no warm welcome, no friendly chatter about the past days, but you will find a huge amount of humor, comic situations, non-trivial use of the most common - at first glance - objects and a lot of new acquaintances - from pretty ordinary to very unexpected. So if you are a fan of joking and laughing - put on a clown cap and take in your hands a special clown wand - all other serious matters will wait, because you have a unique opportunity to come off to the fullest!
