Mystic Towers
In the game Mystic Towers (Apogee), you have to play for Baron Boldrick, not the greatest wizard, whom the inhabitants of the village of Rimm with great difficulty have begged to free their towers from the monsters who settled there. There are only six towers, this is in the full (registered) version, with five floors in each.
Each of them has its own set of creatures and various spells, such as “Fireball” or “Teleportation”, will help the baron to cope with them. In addition to ordinary monsters, there is a monster generator in each tower, the task of which is to maintain the number of creatures at the proper level.
The situation is complicated by the fact that our baron is an extremely absent-minded person, and can at the most inopportune moment begin, say, to dance. But don’t be scared, it doesn’t interfere with playing, it’s rather amusing - a certain variety is introduced into the gameplay, along with solving puzzles.
You have to move in isometric view, which leaves its mark on the control - for some time you have to get used to it. But the game has twelve towers, six for each difficulty level, so if you like the game, you will have plenty of time!
