BedWars – Competitive PvP Strategy Mode

BedWars is a popular PvP gamemode in Bloxd.io where teamwork, strategy, and fast decision-making decide victory. Players are split into teams and must destroy enemy beds while defending their own. As long as your bed exists, your team can respawn. Once it’s gone, elimination becomes permanent. The last surviving team wins. 🛏️⚔️

Core Objective

Your goal is simple but intense:

• Protect your team’s bed.
• Destroy enemy beds.
• Eliminate all remaining players after their bed is gone.

Sub-Gamemodes

• Solos – 8 teams of 1 player
• Duos – 8 teams of 2 players
• Trios – 4 teams of 3 players
• Squads – 4 teams of 4 players

All modes follow the same mechanics, but team size changes how aggressive or defensive matches feel.

Gameplay Overview

Players spawn with a wooden sword and wooden armor colored to match their team. Gear, tools, and blocks are upgraded through the shop using four resources, listed from common to rare:

• Coal
• Iron
• Moonstone
• Diamonds

As the match progresses, generators speed up and late-game phases may even remove all beds to force a conclusion.

Beds & Elimination

• Each team has a color-coded bed.
• If your bed is destroyed, you can no longer respawn.
• Breaking your own bed is impossible.
• Beds are easy to break but become reinforced later.

Bed Phases:

• Reinforced Bed (Iron-based) – faster to break with pickaxes.
• Wood Bed – faster to break with axes.
• Permanent Reinforcement upgrade available.

Generators & Resources

Base Generators

Each team base contains a generator that produces coal and iron. Generator upgrades increase output speed and can eventually produce diamonds.

Diamond Generators

Located at the outer central islands. These are highly contested zones and crucial for late-game armor and upgrades.

Moonstone Generators

Moonstone generators appear in mid-map islands or between team bases, depending on the mode. Moonstone is essential for team upgrades.

Shop System

Shops are accessed through NPCs or directly in your base:

• Items Shop – Blocks, combat gear, utilities.
• Upgrades Shop – Team-wide bonuses.
• Lucky Items – Limited-time special items.

Shop Categories

• Blocks – Wool, bricks, defensive materials.
• Combat – Swords, armor, explosives.
• Utility – Tools, mobility items.
• Team Upgrades – Generator speed, bed reinforcement.

Lucky Items

Lucky items rotate periodically and introduce special mechanics, such as:

• Toxin Ball – Applies poison damage.
• Health Regeneration – Faster healing out of combat.

Maps

BedWars includes a wide variety of maps across all modes, such as:

• Scary Hollow, Bonsai, Nuclear, Oaked, Siege
• Wheat, Exradia, Pagoda, Colosseum, Rooftops

Combat & Death

• Fall damage is enabled.
• Final kills trigger special sound effects.
• After bed loss, death means permanent elimination.

Winning Strategies

• Assign a dedicated bridger for Moonstone & Diamonds.
• Coordinate upgrades instead of hoarding resources.
• Layer bed defenses to delay attackers.
• Control mid-map generators early.
