🦖 Getting Started: Running Your First Simulation

Start by clicking on the green plus sign to purchase your first dinosaur, the Archosaur. Next, initiate a Fossil Cycle by clicking the yellow arrow on the dinosaur icon. This will generate Fossil Points, your primary resource. Use these points to buy more Archosaurs, as having more will increase the Fossil Points you generate per cycle. As you accumulate enough points, purchase the Ornithischia and continue this process to grow your dinosaur collection.

Keep an eye on your missions, displayed in the top right corner. Completing your first mission, which is to collect 15 Archosaurs, will reward you with a Geode. Break open the Geode to receive a dinosaur trait card, which will automate your Archosaur’s Fossil Cycle. Collecting more copies of the same trait allows you to upgrade it, enhancing your efficiency.

Geodes not only provide trait cards but also Mutagen, a resource for permanent trait upgrades. Navigate to the upgrade menu, select the desired trait, and click “Upgrade”.
