Need for Speed (NFS)

At first glance, the game Need for Speed (hereinafter referred to as NFS) may seem like a completely typical arcade racer. But as soon as you sit behind the wheel and press the gas pedal all the way to the floor, you will feel that the cars here drive almost like real ones. Not only the technical indicators of all cars (highest speed, acceleration) are realistically modeled. Even their features are simulated - the drifts of a Porshe 911, the extreme power of the Viper and Lamborgini engines, the predictability of the NSX. Even the dashboard of each car is exactly like the original. There are eight cars in the game: Toyota Supra Turbo, Lamborghini Diablo, Ferrari 512TR, Porche 911 Turbo, Mazda RX7, Acura NSX and Dodge Viper.

Although the NFS physics engine is worthy of a serious simulator, the main emphasis is still on arcade style, so damage is not simulated. Moreover, as soon as you crash into any obstacle at high speed, the camera will move back to show you in all its glory what kind of somersaults your car makes as it flies into the air. Once it lands, you can continue the race without much consequence other than wasted time.

There are seven tracks in the game, four of them are circular and three run straight along busy highways and are divided into three separate fragments each. Be prepared for collisions with cars driving in the oncoming lane and for dodging the police.

Amazing attention to detail, original track design, excellent graphics and physical model, the opportunity to ride in eight luxury cars and feel indescribable speed - you can’t even dream of more.
